ABOUT ME
Jenny L Camp
Artist, traveler, and believer of finding happiness wherever I am, I find inspiration in the world around me, particularly animals and flowers. I hope that my art brings joy to others. I think art should make you happy, something you can put in your home that makes you smile.
I have been making art in one form or another all of her life, and have a degree in Graphic Design. I find experimenting and playing with watercolor and other mediums and techniques has been one of the best “teachers.” Color and whimsy are qualities I like to show in my art.
I taught art from Kindergarten through 12th grade at the Asmara International School, in Eritrea, East Africa for two years. This was an education for me as well as my students! I have most recently collaborated in Hendersonville with the Flat Rock Historical Society's Garden club, the Hendersonville Bear Footin' Bears program and am currently working with a local author illustration her children's book on nature, as well as taking commissions.
I moved to Hendersonville, NC in 2018 with my husband, John, after traveling the world for his career in the US Army. We lived in 6 different countries and enjoy traveling and experiencing new cultures.
